64 Audio Featured Technologies:
3D-Fit technology preserves the detail of your ear impressions using a new process of digital rendering and 3D-printing. Compared to conventional wax-dip molding, this process reduces distortion in the impression for the most precise and comfortable custom in-ear monitors available. All of 64 Audio Custom In-Ear Monitors and Custom Earplugs are crafted using this process.
Tia, or Tubeless In-Ear Audio, allows sound to travel to the ear in a more natural way, resulting in a more expansive soundstage and smooth frequency response. The complete tia system is comprised of three elements: open balanced armature drivers, a single-bore design, and acoustic chambers.
Apex, or Air Pressure Exchange, is a pneumatically interactive vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and opens the soundstage. Apex comes in three variations, mX, m15 and m20.
LID, or Linear Impedance Design, enables a consistent, reliable sound regardless of what you’re plugged into. LID is a proprietary circuit that corrects the non-linear impedances of the drivers, restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature.
