The HiFiMAN HE5se is reborn from the original HE5, where HiFiMAN really made its mark on the head-fi market. This planar open-back headphone has nanometer thickness diaphragm that is incredibly precise.
Headband
The new hybrid headband is lighter and more adjustable for maximum comfort, even after hours of listening.
Connectivity
This HiFiMAN HE5se has new 10 degrees angled 3.5mm connectors at the earcup. Angled to reduce pressure and ensure a long-lasting link between the headphone and the cable. The cable is user-replaceable and has channel orientation for left and right.
Earcup and Pads
The HE5se is equipped with the proprietary focus pad. These pads feature memory foam surrounded by PU leather and soft velour outer layers that gently envelope the ear.
Outstanding Sound Quality
The planar magnetic technology offers largely superior sounding experience in terms of quality and soundstage. The HE5se is noticeable for its huge soundstage, enveloping deep bass, clear midsection and excellent highs.
