Ten years later, HiFiMAN is proud to introduce a new model, EF400, that incorporates the best of recently developed technologies, especially the company’s advanced Himalaya R2R DAC. The HiFiMAN EF400 is the modern desktop DAC/Amp solution, with a compact footprint and price to match, but with sonics that outperform products many times its size.

Fully Balanced
The four-channel differential structure features a DAC, buffer and active filter that add up to unbeatable fully balanced output for stunning performance from a Class AB DAC/amplifier.
The four-channel fully differential amplifier circuit features a maximum output of 10.7 Vrms (THD<1%) on a 36Ω resistor equivalent load. The result: fully balanced output that is beyond compare.

HIFIMAN engineers employed lightweight, ultra-fine planar drivers for the high power sensitivity necessary when used with streaming audio devices. Ananda’s rating of 103dB guarantees that it will provide consistently low distortion high-fidelity output when used with a smartphone, let alone current and upcoming high-resolution digital audio players and home audio systems.
The industrial design of the Ananda headphone represents new standards of comfort and performance for open-back planar models. The ultra-thin diaphragm produces unmatched detail and low distortion, and the window shade grill design reduces sonic reflections, resulting in pure, neutral sonics.
Stealth Magnets
Unlike the sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the special shape of Stealth Magnets enables the waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference.
HIFIMAN’s advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent dramatically reducing wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of the sound waves. The reduced distortion yields pure sonic output that is accurate and full-range.
Neo Supernano Diaphragm
The all new NsD is 80% thinner than previous designs resulting in a faster more detailed response while retaining lush musicality never before possible. At between 1 to 2 microns thick, the NsD diaphragm sets all be standards.
