Ten years later, HiFiMAN is proud to introduce a new model, EF400, that incorporates the best of recently developed technologies, especially the company’s advanced Himalaya R2R DAC. The HiFiMAN EF400 is the modern desktop DAC/Amp solution, with a compact footprint and price to match, but with sonics that outperform products many times its size.

Fully Balanced
The four-channel differential structure features a DAC, buffer and active filter that add up to unbeatable fully balanced output for stunning performance from a Class AB DAC/amplifier.
The four-channel fully differential amplifier circuit features a maximum output of 10.7 Vrms (THD<1%) on a 36Ω resistor equivalent load. The result: fully balanced output that is beyond compare.

With an ergonomic design to comfortably fit most listeners, the Arya incorporates unique HiFiMAN features such as the patented “window shade” system that reduces reflections to widen the soundstage. A super-thin diaphragm guarantees faster response and bare minimum distortion. As with all new HiFiMAN products, the Arya features 3.5mm headphone connectors that are angled at 10°, thereby lessening the pressure points associated with straight-angled connectors. These pressure points sometimes stress the connection, but the new design ensures a solid, reliable and long-lasting link between the headphone and the cable.
Stealth Magnets
Traditional magnets generate sound waves that can introduce interference. The special shape of HiFiman’s Stealth Magnets enables the waves to pass through without interference. This design is acoustically transparent minimizing the degradation of the sound waves and lowering distortion to produce accurate sonic output.
Nanometer Thickness Diapraghm
A breakthrough core technology developed by HiFiMAN, it’s the first of its kind in headphone applications. Working with this advanced material is extremely challenging, but the successful incorporation of this film as the Arya’s planar driver is the cornerstone of its remarkable sound.
Metal and High-Grade Plastic Construction
