This Meze Audio Empyrean II is a trade-in. Meze's second-generation planar magnetic flagship, refining the original Empyrean's Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver (Rinaro Isodynamics) for greater detail, a more neutral signature, and improved reliability in tough acoustic environments — while keeping the easy-listening character that made the original a favorite.

CNC-milled black matte frame with silver accents and an art deco-inspired aluminium grille. Includes two earpad sets: the new Duo Earpads (leather/Alcantara blend) for tonal balance, and Angled Alcantara Earpads for a more airy, detail-forward classic sound.

This unit is a trade-in and includes the Meze Mini-XLR Silver-Plated PCUHD Premium Cable (4-pin XLR termination) — a step up from the standard copper PCUHD cable, built from braided Furukawa silver-plated PCUHD copper with Jensen 4% silver soldering. As this cable is from an earlier production run, minor cosmetic differences from current stock may be present. Ships in the hard-shell ABS case with foam inserts and leather handle as well as two sets of pads. It was very well cared for, otherwise we wouldn't have accepted it as a trade-in. Near mint condition. Get it while you can.
