The Meze Audio Poet brings together everything they have learned about making exceptional headphones, packing flagship-level tech into a more approachable package. At its heart sits the new MZ6 Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver from Rinaro—a clever synthesis of the drivers found in Meze's Elite and Liric models. This isn't just marketing speak; it's a genuinely advanced planar driver that weighs practically nothing (0.06 grams) while delivering impressively low distortion under 0.05%, and the Poet incorporates Dan Clark Audio's AMTS (Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System) technology under license, which helps smooth out the treble response and reduce listening fatigue.
The Poet strikes a balance between musicality and precision, offering a generally smooth sound signature with a dash of treble sparkle that keeps things lively without becoming fatiguing. Unlike Meze's traditionally warm headphones, the Poet opts for a sharper, more revealing profile while maintaining that natural tonality the brand is known for. The bass digs deep into the sub bass with enough mid bass presence to satisfy, but without the typical "hump" that can overwhelm. The midrange is slightly forward, making vocals particularly engaging.

HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS – DESIGNED FOR LIFE
POET headphones are designed to be fully serviceable. Every component, from the replaceable earpads to the chassis, can be easily disassembled and maintained. POET includes a magnetic ear pad system, introduced in our 2nd Generation LIRIC for easy pad swapping. A premium hand-braided copper cable with 6.3mm termination is included with the headphone. The intricate patterns in the steel grille were chosen to enhance the audio tuning, while the magnesium chassis adds durability.
