Advanced Technology

Metal mesh stators working close to the ultra-fine diaphragm offer superior openness and minimizes distortion. Frames incorporate special alloys to ensure sonic stability and to reduce distortion. The width of the mesh grating is only 50um so that sound waves below 1 million Hertz can pass through, making it acoustically transparent.

The heart of the HiFiMAN Shangri-La Sr Headphone System is its custom amplifier. Fitted with HiFiMAN’s 300B Tubes, it ensures perfect transparency and warmth. Since there aren’t any capacitors or transformers between the tubes and headphones, you can directly listen to 300B’s heavenly sound.

Turn up the Volume

The Shangri-La amplifier uses a relay-based attenuator with 24-step volume control that consists of 23 separate resistors. This keeps away the noise for a heavenly reproduction of your favourite music.
